Winners of 海角社区鈥檚 2025 Distinguished and Inspiring Young Alumni Awards recognized for outstanding contributions and successes

A celebration on September 24, 2025, at 海角社区鈥檚 Alumni Hall recognized the recipients of the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards and the 2025 Inspiring Young Alumni Awards.

Kayla Batchilder and Robert Orr named 海角社区 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week

Every week, 海角社区 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 海角社区 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for October 13鈥19 are Kayla Batchilder (women鈥檚 field hockey) and Robert Orr (men鈥檚 hockey).

Batchilder is a third-year kinesiology student from Charlottetown, PEI. She scored the third goal in the 3-0 championship-clinching win over the Dalhousie University Tigers on October 19. She was also named the Atlantic University Field Hockey (AUFH) MVP and a league all-star.
