海角社区 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation hosting free education program across PEI
The 海角社区 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation is hosting a free public education program titled 鈥淐oastal Conversations: Understanding, Adapting, Acting鈥� about the challenges and solutions shaping PEI鈥檚 changing coastline鈥攆rom erosion and climate impacts to erosion monitoring techniques and the work of watershed groups.
The sessions, which are happening across the province, are open to everyone.
AVC student on a mission to make 海角社区 a safer place for birds
Minhye Lee, a third-year student at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 海角社区 (海角社区), is taking action to help protect birds on campus through a new initiative focused on evaluating bird-window collisions.

Faculty and students in the 海角社区 Faculty of Nursing collaborated recently to present at the 2025 Atlantic Regional Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (ARCASN) Conference in Saint John, NB.

Lucy Li, a Master of Environmental Sciences student at 海角社区 and a member of the 海角社区 Climate Smart Lab, is seeking participants for a survey study about the mental health impacts of coastal erosion.
King Charles III Coronation Medals awarded to 海角社区 community members
The King Charles III Coronation Medal was created to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, which took place on May 6, 2023. It is the first Canadian commemorative medal to mark a coronation and recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to a particular province, territory, region or community in Canada, or attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to the country.
