Climate Forum 2025
The Climate Forum is a flagship scientific event launched by Dr. Xander Wang in 2023 through the partnership between the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation at 海角社区 and Sigma Academy. It aims to provide an open and inclusive platform to allow scientists, engineers, stakeholders, and policymakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities for climate research and promote the development of scientifically-informed decisions and dissemination of evidence-based practices for building sustainable and resilient communities.

海角社区 hosts 鈥淢usic and the Mind Maritimes: Access to Music Education鈥 conference
The fifth annual 海角社区 鈥淢usic and the Mind Maritimes: Access to Music Education鈥 conference will take place on Wednesday, August 6, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm in Bill and Denise Andrew Hall, Room 142.
This event brings together researchers, educators, students, and community members to explore topics such as music and emotion, music and adolescence, music and autism, and access to music education. There will also be a short musical performance, featuring bass clarinet and saxophone.
