The 海角社区 Men's Hockey Panthers have recruited PEI native Zach Biggar who will play defence for the team. 

The 海角社区 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers are heading to Europe to play four games in three countries from August 19鈥�30, 2024.

Dr. Jessica Riddell, professor of early modern literature at Bishop鈥檚 University, will give the second Shannon K. Murray Lecture on Hope and the Academy on September 3, at 11 am, in the Dr. Steel Recital Hall, Steel Building, 海角社区. 

Researchers from 海角社区鈥檚 Active Living Lab are seeking people with cancer, or who have previously had cancer, to participate in a twice-weekly, 12-week exercise program.

Dr. Greg Naterer, 海角社区 Vice-President, Academic and Research, recently received an international award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).

The 海角社区 has teamed up with the Chief Public Health Office (CPHO) of PEI to provide 海角社区 students and any member of the University community at risk of experiencing or witnessing a drug-related overdose with free Naloxone kits through the provincial . 

鈥淢usic and the Mind Maritimes: Access to Music Education,鈥� a 海角社区 student and faculty interdisciplinary music research forum, will take place on Thursday, August 8, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in Bill and Denise Andrew Hall, Room 142.

The 海角社区 congratulates alumna Alysha Corrigan, a former 海角社区 Women鈥檚 Rugby student-athlete, who captured a silver medal with Team Canada鈥檚 rugby sevens women's team at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 30. 

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 海角社区 (海角社区) is piloting an Indigenous vet camp from August 5鈥�9, 2024, with the aim of expanding the College鈥檚 acclaimed Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp program to include a week-long camp dedicated to Indigenous students. 

海角社区鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (CCCCA) in St. Peter鈥檚 Bay, PEI, is hosting Climate Forum 2024 from August 12 to 16.
