The 海角社区鈥檚 new Faculty of Medicine and interdisciplinary health education facility is now open, marking a significant milestone for the province and setting a new benchmark for collaborative project delivery in Canada.

The 海角社区 campus community were invited to take part in a Sexual Assault Awareness Week initiative named 鈥淟ove Letters to Survivors鈥� that encouraged individuals to write messages of empathy, care, and encouragement for those who have experienced sexual violence.

In her fall message, President Wendy Rodgers thanks students, staff, and faculty for their care, energy, and leadership they bring to our community, and invites everyone to think about gratitude as the University heads into the Thanksgiving break.

海角社区 held a well-attended TRC Mawi鈥檕mi in the Quadrangle between Kelley Memorial Building and the W.A. Murphy Student Centre, from 10:00 am鈥�2:00 pm, on Friday, October 3.

The 海角社区 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for September 30鈥揙ctober 5 are Emma MacLean (women鈥檚 rugby) and Ben McFarlane (men鈥檚 hockey).
 

Researchers at the 海角社区 have been awarded over $1.7 million in federal funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).

Dr. Greg Naterer shared the news in a campus-wide message that Dr. Donna Hardy Cox has been appointed as the Associate Vice-President, Students, for a five-year term, effective November 1, 2025.
