Each year at 海角社区, approximately 150 residence students remain on campus during the break between first semester exams and early January when students return to classes for the second semester. This year, the 海角社区 International Student Office, in cooperation with Student Affairs staff, Campus Life Advisors, Residence Life, and the 海角社区 Alumni Association, supported and organized some activities for these students during the break, providing a sense of community and connection.

On Sunday, October 27, 海角社区 residence students took part in a door-to-door food drive, Trick or Eat庐, in support of the 海角社区 food bank. Led by Residence Life Advisor (RLA) Shelby Dyment, the 海角社区 residence team organized the event and collected non-perishable food items along a collection route in Charlottetown. The event, which is part of a national initiative, was deemed a success by everyone involved.
海角社区 students living in residence received a warm welcome from 海角社区 staff and fellow students on Friday, August 30. To make move-in day go as smoothly as possible for everyone, many campus partners gave of their time and expertise to make the day a great experience for 海角社区鈥檚 new and returning residence students.
