Graduate Research Assistant - Faculty of Education
$27.81 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay, as per PSAC Local 86000

The º£½ÇÉçÇø Literacy & Numeracy Outreach Project, within the Faculty of Education, is seeking a Graduate Research Assistant to lead the writing of the final evaluation report for Camp Elemeno 2025. This position involves reviewing and analyzing K–3 assessment data (qualitative and quantitative) and working collaboratively with the Faculty Coordinator and º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Marketing and Communications team to produce a professional, public-facing report that captures the outcomes and impact of the program.
This opportunity is open to all graduate students; however, preference will be given to those enrolled in the º£½ÇÉçÇø Faculty of Education graduate program with experience in data analysis and report writing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and organize data collected from Camp Elemeno Summer 2025
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
- Align findings with PEI grade-level outcomes using provincial assessment tools
- Draft the final report in collaboration with the Faculty Coordinator
- Coordinate with º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Marketing and Communications department for report layout, editing, and proofreading
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled as a graduate student at º£½ÇÉçÇø; preference will be given to those enrolled in the Faculty of Education graduate program
- Strong understanding of PEI curriculum outcomes and primary literacy and numeracy pedagogy
- Familiarity with play-based and arts-based pedagogy is considered an asset
- Demonstrated skill in writing, editing, and synthesizing information
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
This position is covered by a Collective Agreement between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the º£½ÇÉçÇø. Priority will be given to º£½ÇÉçÇø students.
