The 海角社区 Experiential Education and English Language Centre is seeking qualified individuals to teach English Academic Preparation courses in its general undergraduate programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teaching academic English (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) from intermediate to advanced proficiency level
  • Prepare and execute formative and summative course-based assessments 
  • Curriculum development & lesson planning
  • Participation in staff meetings
  • Provide student assistance and feedback on class work
  • Facilitation of some special events and/or workshops as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Education degree
  • Master鈥檚 degree in Education, Teaching English as a Second Language, or a related field
  • Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language 
  • Teaching experience in ESL/EAP programming (oral communications, reading comprehension, writing)
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written English proficiency
