| Background: | These annual scholarships are established at the 海角社区 by Bill Andrew and his wife, Denise. Bill Andrew received his Diploma in Engineering from 海角社区 in 1973 and became Chancellor of the 海角社区 in 2004. Bill Andrew is currently President of Penn West Petroleum Ltd. and is active in various community and philanthropic endeavours. He is a founding member of the Friends of 海角社区 group in Calgary, has a farm on PEI, and is active in PEI and national harness racing circles. |
